The warm up starts already on the way down from Fiss to the main road and from there towards Reschen where the bike's ideal lean angle can be thoroughly tested on the Norbertshöhe. The Reschen pass and Lake Reschens are, of course, a must and always make for a good 'church picture.'
It gets really exciting starting at Müstair because the Umbrail pass is chock full of curvy fun. Whoever chooses this route as part of a sunrise tour will turn off here towards the Stilfser saddle to stamp this singular natural wonder on their cultural passport.
Then it's on to Bormio, which is not only a word for World Cup skiing fans. Like a giant slalom race our tour continues, not on a snow covered ski slope, but over the Passo di Foscagno and the Passo d’Eira which leads into the duty free zone of Livigno. An amazing pizzeria there awaits all the hungry curve hunters who, feeling replenished, will later ride their steel horses through an inviting maze of curves towards Zernez.
Beautiful back roads in Unterengadin provide a relaxed return journey to Fiss, which once again, right before the arrival at the "Fernblick," provides a little more curve work. After all, when you stay with Andi, you're not staying in the valley.
